  2. Kia Ora Thomas,

Well done for posting your first activity for the Summer Learning Journey 2018-2019. I am looking forward to reading more of your blogs over the summer :)

You are very lucky to live in such a cool town! Did you know the toilets in Kawakawa are the last project that Hundertwasser ever designed? I always like to stop in Kawakawa on my way home to Okaihau, so I can grab something to eat. Like you said, Kawakawa has many different food places. I think one of my favourite things about Kawakawa is the three bridges. Ever since I was young, mum used to always drive slowly then speed up as we went over the bridges and we would get that funny feeling in our stomachs!

It's great to see you have used some images in your presentation. Just a friendly reminder that every time that we use an image that we haven’t created on our blog, it's really important that we tell our readers where we found it, and give credit to the owner of the picture. This doesn’t include any pictures from the Summer Learning Journey website, or an image that you have created.

To properly credit a picture you will need to include a link to the site where you found the image. We have created a guide that you might find helpful. You can check it out here:

    https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VKjkMGwBrk2YI6Vtmg91OAQljr_T3ZSV6YZtu6MWFNM/

You will need to follow these instructions to earn full points for any Summer Learning Journey activity that has asked you to post an image.

I look forward to reading more of your awesome blog posts soon!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani
